BUILD LOG

The second model kit from Ming Jiang Legend, with the scale is likely 1/72 if we are using gunpla metrics, rather than 1/100 as they specified.

The overall experience is smooth. The plastic quality is above average with the metal frame is durable and firm. The design is also not too bad and might actually appeal to certain audiences, it is already improved from Kiyomori Taira that came before.

There are two problems while building Tengu:

+ The legs, the knee to be exact, are difficult to assemble following the manual. You need to be a bit creative for them to work out.

+ The feather joints are easy to break. Too easy. I broke one of them and had to glue it. You won't notice at all but it's still a flaw.

Another cons is the water slides design. It is the same problem Kiyomori Taira has: it's too bland. Like the decals were an afterthought in the model kit design. You can just leave them be if you don't like decals. They don't do much on the model kits except the fan, may be.

Aside from those, I like it. The base is huge with 4 slots to keep the extra bits. The weapons are well designed. The movement range is better than Taira.
